Today is a very, very good day! I will be flying over to Kansas for Thanksgiving! What’s great is that my mom said she wanted me to not have to be stressed and to just bring a carry-on bag. You know how they had that liquid-bomb scare thing a few months ago? Well, even though they are now allowing you to carry tiny, travel-sized toiletries onto planes it still would be a hassle.
You’re only allowed to have a couple ounces of whatever it is you need to bring and it all must fit into a regular-sized clear plastic sandwich baggie! So I’m avoiding that all together and just sent my mom a short list of things I normally use and she’s going to buy it for me, hehe. :D I love my momma!
I called the place I normally park at to ask if they were full. The poor frazzled lady on the other end said “No” very exasperatingly and I felt bad for her. :( I asked her if she’s gotten that question a lot lately and she, quite emphatically too, said yes. :P Well, I’m glad they won’t be full later today either…or that’s what she assured me.
I promised my professor, who for some reason didn’t cancel class, that I would be in class for the first hour at the most but then I had to get outta there to make it to my plane. Was funny, he emailed me back all excited that I was even going to show up! I bet I’m one of like five people that actually do, hehe.
I’m still a bit sick from over the weekend, but I hope I can sleep some of it off on the plane. Need to stay alert for finals the next two weeks, icky. :( But it’s almost Christmas!! YAY! I love Christmas, as you can tell from past entries. :P Not too many holidays can replace it. Not even birthdays sometimes. I’ve had way more an enjoyable Christmas than a birthday. Maybe that’s just because my birthday is so close to Christmas…January 31st. :P But woohoo, I still love it all anyway.
