Project 365: Week 1

I’ve always wanted to do this project! For those unaware, it is when you take one photo a day for an entire year, or 365 days. The general “rule” is that photos can be of anything as long as each one is taken and then posted on the same day. I’ve seen versions of the project where people do a photo of themselves each day or of their pets, etc. As for me, I’ve decided to try to take a photo of something interesting that happened on each day, or at least something unique! That way it will be more of an engaging experience instead of an omg-rush-stress-must-take-photo-of-whatever type thing which will make me get sick of it and want to stop. ;)

I started on January 1st of this year, but really you can start at any time (there are some groups I found that started theirs last June!) I’m posting all of my photos on Flickr and will also be blogging each week’s photos here with more details. Since it’s already almost February, I have to play catch up for January’s photos!

1/365 – Living Room

I had just taken down the Christmas tree and tidied up! We moved some furniture around and were very happy with how it opened up the room more. I also re-organized our DVD collection and alphabetized them all. I be crazy, I know.

2/365 – First Snow

We’ve had a rather mild winter so far, but this was the first snow of the year! Just a light dusting.

3/365 – Mockingjay

Finished this around 12am on this day, amazing final book of the series. It was very emotional!

4/365 – Silly Cat

Cody has been very rambunctious lately… possibly kitty-spring-fever! This is one of his favorite spots to sit (in the kitchen at our little breakfast table) because he can stare out the windows into the backyard outside! We have a couple of neighborhood cats who wander around and he LOVES to meow at them.

5/365 – Midnight Snack

And a good book! :D I’m so thankful to the people who recommended that book to me, it was excellent.

6/365 – Focus

I was holding one of his toys above him. Right after this photo was taken he jumped! :D

7/365 – Ice Pops

My sister and her hubs gave us a “pop maker” for Christmas! Tried it out today with strawberry juice… works great! :9
