Blue Sky Scarf

I’ve only recently learn to knit since last year. :D One of my first projects ever was a very easy scarf pattern that I began as I traveled to my sister’s wedding last November. All it consists of is knit, purl every row with no differentiation. Quite easy… but I only just finished it this week. XD

Blue SkyThe finished scarf!

Blue SkyIt is very toasty warm.

Blue SkyI love the fuzzy-ish blue yarn! :D

However, in my defense, this was a project I picked up and put down with many weeks in between… so don’t think I was hunched over in yarn-slavery all this time, hehe. I’m quite happy with how it turned out, very soft and warm. The yarn is Cascade Pastaza 085, a lovely sky blue (thus the name.)

I challenged myself to finish this as part of the “conditioning exercises” for Team Owlie, one of the groups I’m participating in for the 2012 Ravellenic Games. The games begin TODAY at the start of the London Olympics opening ceremonies! I will be joining in the Mass Cast On event at 4pm EST, by permission of my boss since I will still be at work. ;)

GOOD LUCK TO ALL THE PARTICIPANTS! :D

I love it! Such a gorgeous color, too. Sometimes I wish I could knit… but then sometimes I’d just rather by them from Etsy from people who really know what they are doing! ;) Yours looks really great!
