Yay for new site designs! :D I finally got around to making a new one, even if it was a little rushed. I start my camp job tomorrow, so I wanted to get a fresh look to my site before I head out there. I’ll be bringing my laptop (yay for internet at camp) so I’ll still be connected, no worries. :)
So what do you think of the new style? I’ll probably be tweaking it when I can in the coming weeks. I did try to clean up things a bit more, make it more pleasant of an experience to browse. I’ll also be giving the content an update soon too, it’s on the list! Of course, with my new job and a few other new things going on, it may take a bit.
The Quilting Bee rocks!!
With that being said, I have become a Princess Bee at the Quilting Bee! :D Yay! It’s very exciting, I get to help the Q*Bee out even more now, which is awesome. My primary job is to help promote the Q*Bee on the web to help recruit more wonderful bees for the club. So my first official promotion act is a big plug on my site, of course! :) For anyone wondering what the Q*Bee is, here is a tidbit:
The Quilting Bee is an interactive club/friendship clique all in one. You’ll design your very own “quilt patch” and as you trade patches with other members, you’ll “sew” them onto your quilt. Soon your quilt will be big and beautiful and colourful and you’ll meet new friends in the process! ~ Q*Bee
I’ve met so many amazing people at the Q*Bee and even met one, so far, in person! The club itself has been around for several years and is one of the best ways, that I’ve found, to make some great friends online.
If you enjoy making graphics (you do not need to have great pixeling skills to join, trust me!), meeting new people and participating in fun activities then definitely consider joining us! My latest gaming obsession…
I really should be packing for camp, heh. :P It’s 3:30am and I’ve just been working on my site. Chaz is playing WoW and running the Shadow Labs instance with a few guildies.
I got back into City of Heroes over the past couple weeks and I think I’ll continue with it. Chaz and our friends, Greg & Jess, picked it up as well and, after leveling to 10, we made a supergroup called The Destiny League! It’s pretty fun and I think I may have convinced Arien to try it out too, hehe, which would be awesome!
Speaking of Arien, we hung out with her and Clayton yesterday. Yay! Clayton and Chaz ran off to do “man stuff”, whatever that is, and Arien and I played with the kittens and then turned her Sims into vampires. XD It was hilarious!
For anyone curious, you must have the Nightlife Expansion and become best friends with one of the vampire NPCs. Then, they may bite your Sims’ necks! They walk around and make silly noises, it was highly amusing. :P

Wow, it’s a very pretty layout and I think I like it more than the previous one. =) And I love how you’ve customized the thing that pops up when you hover over words with dotted underlining. How did you do that?

Congratulations on becoming a princess bee! I finally reapplied the other day and I was told I couldn’t join because I didn’t make my own layout and didn’t have an outstanding quilt page. Why would I work so hard on my quilt page if I’m not even accepted yet. I’m a bit frustrated and disappointed because I really wanted to be a part of it.

I like the new layout, but I was kind of hoping to see something a little different in regards to the way your content is displayed. But nonetheless I really enjoy the little sun and cloud =)
Also, I’ve been procrastinating with joining the Qbees… But I think later on today after I get some things finished, I’ll finally submit an application :P

I adore the new layout, even if it is graphicish-less… if that made sense. Of course, I like to overdo graphics so my own site becomes gaudy!

You should post a picture of your superhero! My friend Marc and I played a free month of CoH a year or so ago.. it was fun =) We made superheros based on inside jokes from our elementary school days, it was pretty funny. I don’t really remember why we quit..

Hooray for a new layout. It’s nice and simple. I liked Jessica’s suggestions. I don’t think blue and pink really go together, but I think that has more to do with personal preference than anything else. Other than that it looks great!
Congrats on becoming a princess bee! We certainly need new bees. The club could always do with new bees. The Quilting Bee is one of the best clubs I’ve joined online. There are so many great people on there, and the activities are heaps of fun.

Lol, I just quit CoH / CoV. I don’t know what to do as far as mmos go now. So many mediocre ones, so little time. I’m praying to get into Warhammer Online beta, as that game looks promising, and I’ve always been into the Warhammer AND Warhammer 40k stories of humorous violence just for the sake of humorous violence.
